Love U

I'm so excited, I figured out how to make my own Sticky Cuts! I ran a sheet of Therm O Web mounting adhesive through my Cricut to cut the letter U. Then I peeled off the backing, placed the letter on my card and pressed it down firmly. Then I just peeled off the top layer of paper leaving a clear adhesive letter. Then I covered it in glitter which stuck great!
This card is a CASE of one of my favorite makers, Krystie Lee. Here is her card: Tweet Heart in White

Stamps: SU Simply Said (heart), Studio G (love you)
Ink: SU Pink Pirouette, SU Riding Hood Red, SU Baja Breeze (flower), Staz On black
Other: Making Memories brad and flowers, Martha Stewart onyx glitter, Therm O Web mounting adhesive, Cricut Printing Press cartridge (letter 'U')

Valentine in the Round

I decided to shake things up a bit for this one and make it round rather than rectangle. I cut up several strips of patterned paper and adhered them to the front of my circle card. I went around again and trimmed the strips down so that they were flush with the base. After stamping on the card and inking the edges, I attached my hearts with pop-dots. Two holes punched in the side where the card folds made the perfect spot to tie my ribbon through.

Stamps: Studio G $1 stamps
Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink in 'Chestnut Roan'
Paper: Basic Grey 'Blush'
Ribbon: Joann's Craft Essentials
Other: pop-dots, hearts cut out using Cricut 'George'

A couple cards made using my scalloped scissors (again!) and Cricut for the circles. I love that thing for being able to make shapes in so many different sizes. No more buying tons of punches of the same shape just to get different sizes!
Stamps: Studio G for the words, and SU! 'Priceless' for the pattern on the white paper.
Paper: Bazzill
Ribbon: Jo-ann's essentials
Other: pop-dots, brads

I love the Basic Grey 'Blush' paper! This card took less than five minutes to make by using just one of the patterned papers to create the whole background. I then cut out a rectangle of the pink paper, stamped the sentiment, inked the edges, then attached with pop-dots. So easy!

Stamp: Studio G

Paper: Basic Grey 'Blush'

Other: pop-dots, Colorbox chalk ink in 'chestnut roan'

I got to use my scalloped scissors again on this card, punching holes in the scallops to give it a lace-type effect.

Stamps: Studio G
Paper: Die Cuts with a View
Other: scalloped scissors, hole punch, pop-dot

$1 Stamps

I came across this great thread that showcases photos of most of the $1 Studio G acrylic stamp sets. It looks like a 10th set is in the works for after new year. Let the searching begin!
And check out this really cute album to store them in.

So, I have had this Basic Grey paper for about....forever, and I could never figure out what to do with it. I love patterned paper and can't stop buying it, but when I try to do something with it I get a bit intimidated by it!
All paper is 'Phresh and Phunky' by Basic Grey, stamps on far left card are Stampin' Up 'Priceless', all other stamps by Studio G.
